Worthington Cheerleaders Unite Across All Ages at Friday Night Varsity Football Game
Worthington, OH — The Thomas Worthington High School Varsity Cheerleaders proudly welcomed cheerleaders from every level of the program during Friday night’s home football game. The event showcased the depth of Worthington cheerleading, with participation from the Freshman and Junior Varsity squads, the middle school team, and the Worthington Youth Booster cheerleaders.
The evening highlighted the tradition and future of the cheer program, as younger athletes joined their high school role models on the sidelines to support the Cardinals. Together, the teams celebrated community, school spirit, and the growing excitement around cheerleading in Worthington.
Adding to the night’s festivities, the Varsity football team secured an impressive victory over the Grove City Greyhounds, making the event a true celebration of Cardinal pride.
This night was an incredible opportunity for our athletes of all ages to come together and experience the energy of a Friday night under the lights. It was inspiring to see the younger cheerleaders learning from our Varsity team and sharing in the tradition of Worthington cheer.
The collaborative event served as a memorable moment for athletes, families, and fans, strengthening connections across the program and reinforcing the Cardinal spirit from youth to Varsity.

Worthington, OH — The Thomas Worthington High School Cheerleading Program proudly participated in the community’s annual Memorial Day Parade, honoring our neighbors and community members while celebrating both the future and the present spirit of Cardinal pride.
During the event, cheerleaders distributed flyers for the upcoming Youth Cheerleading Camp, designed to introduce young athletes to the fundamentals of cheer, teamwork, and school spirit. The camp also provides an opportunity to strengthen connections between Thomas Worthington students and future generations of Cardinals.
A highlight of the day was honoring the program’s Class of 2026 seniors. These student-athletes were recognized for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to the cheer program throughout their high school careers.
The Memorial Day Parade allowed cheerleaders to celebrate alongside neighbors, families, and friends, reinforcing the program’s commitment to both school spirit and community involvement.

🎄 Cardinal Cheerleaders Spread Holiday Cheer! 🎄
Our Cardinal Cheerleaders had a blast at the Holiday Open House with the Worthington Partnership today! ✨ Despite the chilly weather, we loved meeting so many families and kids. Everyone enjoyed chatting with the cheer squad, grabbing a candy cane, and getting creative making ornaments. 🎅🎨
